CONGRATULATIONS! That is absolutely wonderful news. I am thrilled to hear about your work, and really want to know about what happens as things develop. The Global Activism Conference sounds amazing.
Actually, I am just starting work with a new blog called Gender Across Borders, about global feminism. This sounds like a fabulous opportunity to publicize your conference, and your work. One of the things that I will be writing is a monthly column on feminists all over the world. Perhaps I could write about you and your colleagues and how this initiative came to be. If we do that, it could give some coverage to your conference too. What do you think?

사스키아 뷔에링가는 네덜란드 암스테르담의 여성운동을 위한 국제정보센터와 아카이브 관장으로서 여성의 역사를 기록하고 그 기록을 활동과 연계하는데 IIAV의 운영을 진행하고 있다. 개인적으로는 인도, 인도네시아, 네덜란드를 연계하는 섹슈얼리티 센터를 운영하고 있으며 1999년에는 Female Desires로 루스베네딕트상을 받기도 하고 최근 Women's Sexualities and Masculinites in a Globalizing Asia(2009)를 펴내는 등 저술 작업도 활발히 하고 있다.
